Update 25th August 2021
Dear Residents, Family and Friends,
We are pleased at the take up rates of the COVID vaccine across the Columbia community. Resident and staff vaccination rates are almost at 90% across all facilities. Support from our local Public Health Unit is ongoing. For new Residents roving vaccine clinics are organised very quickly and where possible we include new staff. A small number of residents are unable be vaccinated due to underlying health concerns.
All aged care workers must have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by September 17 and we are very close to full compliance for staff. Those who have not received their first dose will not be rostered beyond this date.

Stay safe. Tiffany
