In accordance with advice provided January 21 from NSW Health please find the update below for both Resident Outings and Visitors.
Residents leaving the facility still need to comply with the following:-
- social distancing requirements at all times
- frequent washing of hands
- correct cough etiquette
- wear a mask for the duration of their outing
In accordance with our normal protocols Residents must advise the RN in Charge that they are leaving and sign out. On return Residents must sign back in, have their temperature taken and inform the RN when they are back in the facility.

All visitors must wear a surgical mask whilst in the facility.

Visitors should be excluded | A maximum of two people can visit each day may be admitted per resident. Different people may visit each day | There are no restrictions on the number of visitors a resident can have each day or at any one time. |
Columbia continues to support visitation for those Residents who are actively palliating. This is managed and approved by the FSM.
