To Columbia Residents, Family and Friends
Events in Melbourne and now in NSW demonstrate just how quickly the coronavirus can spread and that it is a persistent threat that we must continue to manage. Our priority is the safety of the Residents in our care and our staff.
NSW Health have identified a list of venues and dates where positive COVID-19 cases attended whilst infectious or potentially infectious.
We are now being asked to screen all Visitors against the venue list below.
Please review the list of venues and dates below. If you (or anyone in your household) attended any of these venues on the dates listed, as per the advice from NSW Health you SHOULD NOT enter a Columbia facility until 14 days after the date you last attended the venue, and are well.
Crossroads Hotel, Casula: 3-10 July
(people who attended the Crossroads Hotel during these dates are advised to immediately self-isolate until 14 days after they were last there and attend a clinic for testing even if they have no symptoms https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/news/Pages/20200712_01.aspx

Waterfront Café, Merimbula: 7 July (8:30am – 9:30am)
Murray Downs Golf Club: 4-5 July
It is essential that we take the risk of transmission seriously and take steps to protect ourselves and loved ones:
- If you have even mild symptoms, a cold or cough, get tested and stay home until you’re cleared.
- Keep your distance from others at all times even if you are well.
- If you have been in Victoria, don’t mix with other people until two weeks has passed.
